ahh, I feel bad posting this, but I think it’s necessary, unfortunately
I’m going on a hiatus, and I’m not sure when I’m coming off it
I really enjoy trying to help people and answering the requests for advice that I get here! but the fact is that I am not doing too well mentally, and it’s getting harder and harder to do anything but stare blankly at the empty text box when I try to post something.
I hope I can return to this one day. I love Pinkie Pie and I love being helpful however I can, and just the idea of putting a smile on someone’s face puts a smile on mine, too. but it’s hard lately, and I don’t want to give bad answers.
so I’ll see you again some day! I won’t be offended if you decide to unfollow, obviously. why follow an inactive blog? but if you do, maybe some day in the future, you’ll come across one of my posts in the pinkie pie tag

I’d just have to stop smiling! Everypony in Ponyville is way too important to me, I wouldn’t ever let them explode. That’d just be way too cruel, and there’s no way I’d ever be that mean ever! I’d rather never smile ever than do something like that.

hey folks! sorry to say there probably won’t be any special art for today! I’ve been a little sick - it’s just a headcold, really - the last few days and it’s sapped my energy, both creative and otherwise.
however, I (and Pinkie!) wish you all a very happy valentine’s day, whether you’ve got a significant other or not! gorge yourself on chocolates if that’s your thing! spend the day watching sappy romances! go out on a date! or treat it like any other day, it’s all good! whatever you do today, just have fun with it!

Gosh, that’s really unfair! And really unresponsible of your family! I’m sorry you have to watch your sugar and stuff, that must be terrible!
You’ve probably already just told them right to their faces that you feel it’s unfair that they’re eating your food, right? You could suggest whoever does the shopping just gets only the stuff they get for you but end up eating, instead of getting your stuff and stuff for them that they totally ignore! Or you could try and start storing your stuff somewhere they can’t get it, like a drawer in your room or put aside space in your closet or something! It can be really hard to make people understand why they need to not do something sometimes, which is super terrible, but I hope you get to do it!
And if nothing works… even if you lose your temper, I think this is totally something to be angry about! It’s not fair to you, and they’re being really hurtful by taking your stuff when they’ve got all that other stuff just for them! Some things need angry, unfortunately.
Anything that involves the people I care about! I like putting together special presents for each of them, and I like helping the Cakes out because holidays can be kind of fast-paced sometimes! I don’t think I can pick one favourite thing about Valentine’s-slash-Hearts-and-Hooves Day, because I even like the end of it. The sky is always pretty that night. :)

okay, I hate to do another ooc post again so soon, but I need to say something.
I really, really do not mind if you feel the need to repost my sketches so that it’s away from the questions linked with them. But if you actually do this, please please please put this blog as the source! If you don’t add a source, you are essentially stealing the art, and I really do not appreciate that. I realize there’s nothing fantastic about the scribbles that pop up here, but it’s still my art, and it hurts to see it thrown up elsewhere without so much as a mention. I’d really rather not have to mar the pictures with a watermark, but if I see this happening too often I will definitely do so.

The most important thing about Valentine’s day presents is this:
it should come from the heart.
What sort of stuff does he like? Cookies are great and all, but even without the distance, they might come off as pretty common! Cards are actually pretty great; you can keep them for a long time, and they can be done up anyway you want! And you could always get something small and put it inside the card, too. You could write him a meaningful letter about how much you care about him! Or get him something like a friendship bracelet, but for romantic relationships! I’m sure that, no matter how small whatever it is you get him is, he’ll love it because it’s from you!
Well firstly, the thing you should remember is that there’s lots and lots of different kinds of love! So really, even if you don’t have a romantic relationship, you can always take the day to show your friends and family that you care for them! To be honest, my favourite part of the holiday is all the chocolate! From what I get, humans mostly use Valentine’s to buy nice things for their partners, right? Or go out on expensive dates. So there’s not much to do aside from getting yourself candy or something, not like with Hearth’s Warming/Christmas where you can get your own little tree even if you live on your own!
